This is the newest of the junior school links under the Link Ethiopia umbrella, and it is the enthusiasm of St Stephen's teacher, Gail Gammage, that has brought this link into being. St Stephen's is a primary school in Lansdown, Bath, and caters for 420 pupils aged 4 to 11 years old. These young pupils are very keen to communicate with the Atse Bekafa children. Letters are already being passed between the two schools, and the GondarMail system is likewise ready to roll! The Atse Bekafa school is very centrally situated in Gondar, just down the hill from the central Piasa area. Its Director is Ato Asrat Kassa and he is looking forward to the benefits of such a link, both for his school as a whole, and for the children, who will be able to experience communication across the continents for the first time.
