The link between Halliford School in Shepperton, on the River Thames, and the Ediget Feleg school in Gondar is newly formed and has still to experience a face-to-face introduction. Halliford School is a private boys' school and is greatly respected for its academic achievements as well as the variety and excellence of its extra-curricular activities. Its Headmaster is Mr Philip Cottam and this link with Ethiopia is a project very close to his heart. He is planning an investigative trip to Gondar in the very near future. The Ediget Feleg school occupies a shady site on the edge of Gondar and has buildings that reflect the Italian development in the town many decades ago.
