Gondar link…… had by a chance visited your web site . Its extremely pleasing . I had no words to appreciate what you are endeavour to empower the Gondar youth with education and , in general to the old forgottencity of Gondar. Hope with same spirit and dedication will follow others to have other links to other cities of Ethiopia to have diversified changes and development to the whole parts of Ethiopia . You are doing wonderful works ! God bless you ! Keep it up ! By the way, I am born in Gondar city and grow in the smallest distrct of Addis Zemen which is far from Gondar about 90kms , again attended high school in Gondar in which formerly called H.I.hailesilasse secondary high school. I dream and wish the whole parts of Ethiopia developed and prevail its historical position in the world that has been damaged by war , starvation ,disease and ilitearacy. Once again God bless you! I recently found out about your site from my sister, Christine Lake. The work she is doing doesn't surprise me and that she does it with enthusiasm is not surprising either. She feels so strongly for this cause and I am so proud of her. She doesn't just think about doing something as most of us do, she is doing. I must stop "thinking" too. Thank you for the site. |

Having just returned from Ethiopia as part of teh Dreams and Teams project I was interested to see your website. We are hoping to develop the links with schools in Asela and could really learn alot from your experiences. Your website is really informative. I hope that in years to come we can also shout about how much we have managed to achieve in our links with schools in Asela. |

Well Done!! What a wonderful job you have all done sharing your blessings with the children of Gondar! We (my family and I)just returned from a visit to a small village called Injbara where they have a new school and guess what - No books at all! My daughter has made it a personal mission to fill one of their classrooms with books! Thanks to you and all your wonderful donors we now know that it CAN be done! May God bless each of you for your wonderful service! We will continue to watch your great works! |

I also sponsor an Ethiopian child through World Vision. Does anyone know how I can learn a little Amharic, to add to my letters to him? |

We visited Rekebnaha School on Jan 4 2007 when we enrolled a little girl for the first time. We thought the school looked wonderful - well organised and most welcoming of a new student. As a school principal myself and a regular visitor to Ethiopia, I hope to have on going contact with Rekebnaha in the coming years. Perhaps a link with an Australian school could be beneficial? |

I am about to visit Ethiopia next week in a group. Your websit is very well put together and most interesting. Great to hear of your initiatives from Dr. Challenor's School in Amersham. Since mentioning Ethiopia to various friends have been told of a link from Leicester University to a proposed Medical School in Gondar. So looking forward to my visit - have been wanting to visit Ethiopia for years. |

We sponsosr a child in Ethiopia through World Vision and it is wonderful to recieve letters from him and to know how much our support means to him and its not just the financial support but the knowing that someone out there caresabout him. If we can help your charity we will as without charities where would these children and adults be? We also do the alternative Christmas gifts and it has given us a different attitude about Christmas and life generally. My husband does voluntary work in this country for childline and one day we would like to visit Ethiopia to meet our sponsored child. Godbless to all those who care and take action with money or working with the communities. We can make things better we have to keep working at it! |
