What a brave you are! Indeed people of good will too. Congratulations. Keep up the good work for the poor and the less fortunate. It is really inspiring to know people out there who really take risks and sacrifice their time, energy and resources for a good cause. God bless.

Abbi, England January 7, 2006

Dear Paul and Kate,

What an incredible achievement! As I am planning to visit Gondar to help the new university on a short term teaching visit, your diary is my inspiration. It is good to know that it is not only we Ethiopians who care but other special individuals like you. Keep up the good work and do not spoil your good nature.

Thank you

Abbi

Kirsty, England December 22, 2005

Hi you have done sooooooooooooo well helping build the schools in Ethiopia. You have raised a lot of money. The main thing is you got there in one piece to help the children. It takes a lot of courage to cycle all the way to Ethiopia. You are both really brave. Hope you are both having a lot of fun. I'll talk to you soon.

Have fun and stay safe! Take Care! Love From

Daan, Belgium April 8, 2005

Congratulations from your Belgian Bike-buddy, at this moment recovering from an ankle-injury in Delhi, India! Lots of respect for your efforts and for the money you've raised! I remember that you will continue towards Zambia, not?

Me myself, I will quickly go to Pakistan, because I got the visum in Delhi, indeed! But I wanted to ask Paulie some info's about Leh and Ladakh. You've been there and you recommended me to go. I'm thinking about it, but i'm not sure if this is the right season. Help wanted!!

The rest of my plams are unsure: after entering China I have to decide where to go: to Beijing or turning back via Kazachstan?? Time will tell!

When are you guys going back to Good Old England? How was cycling with Stephan and Fritzi?

Tell me all your stories on daandesmet@yahoo.com

greets from hot hot hot Delhi,

Daan

Hi Kate and Paul. I hope you have had a great time on your journey so far. I think that you will raise a lot of money for those children in Ethiopia. With all the people on this website you should raise at least a million (just kidding!). I'm rooting for you both - good luck!

Matt, Ethiopia March 31, 2005

What an amazing few days! Hundreds of people helped welcome Paul and Kate on Tuesday in what was a quite spectacular event. Congratulations to them both and let's hope the coming weeks can give some well deserved rest. We will get photos on the website in the next week. Well done!!
